This is the original Stomp-Toss.  It is designed for use with a baseball only.  It is designed to allow kids 10 and older to spend time hitting soft-toss solo.  All that is required is the Stomp-Toss, a bat and baseballs, and a hitting net.  Kids will spend hours outside using the Stomp-Toss.

Tough to use

1 out of 5 balls seems hitable

The main thing to realized with the Stomp-Toss is that it is a coordination drill. If you don't give it enough time to learn it, you will have results like this. You can't expect to get the hang of it on your first swings. Learn it, and 100% the balls become 'hittable.' Also, don't try to use any different sized balls, as it is not designed to throw a different ball.

NICE OPTION FOR BATTING PRACTICE

The stomp-toss is a great tool for batting practice, at first is a bit tricky to find the correct amout of strenght you have to apply when stepping on it, once you find it, it is really easy and fun.

Great Teaching Tool

What a great way to teach a young player to hit the ball! I bought this for my Grandson to hopefully hone his skills and become an even more frequent on base batter! He’s a great little player and this Stomp-Toss is just the thing to help him get better!! This simple device teaches some very basic batting skills and can help break some very early bad habits and ideas about hitting a ball! Great mechanics teacher in my opinion! Wish I’d had one of these when my kids were young !! Great way to improve those skills all by themselves ! Very simple to put together, very sturdy and strong !

Put it in a shipping box

I bought this for my son for an end of year present because he got all A’s and because it was not in a box, he saw it on the front porch and it ruined the surprise.

Hi Lee Ann. I apologize but the box was designed to be the shipping box. We didn't market that it was anything other than this. We aren't in the business of making and selling boxes. This really has nothing to do with the product. Also, perhaps you could have included a message and we could have done something . The problem is that any larger of a box would increase the shipping cost, close to $10. Sorry to disappoint you but this review has nothing to do with the Stomp-Toss.

  • The hand piece is removable. The product comes with one replacement hand in the event one is broken. Replacement hands can be ordered.
